EDITOR NEEDED

Our visual novel studio is seeking a talented and experienced editor to join our team! As an editor for our studio, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of writing in our visual novels.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit scripts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of language, tone, and style throughout the script.
  • Ensure that the language, tone, and style of the script are consistent and appropriate for our target audience.
  • Collaborate with the writing team to provide feedback and suggestions for improving the story and characters.
  • Assist with proofreading and polishing the final script.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an editor, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Strong knowledge of English language, grammar, and syntax.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the visual novel genre and a willingness to learn and adapt to our studio’s style and requirements.
  • Must be comfortable working with NSFW material.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to commit to a five month or more development period.
  • Must be comfortable using Discord.
  • If meetings are held you must attend.
  • Must be 18 or older due to the nature of our content.
  • You must submit 3 editing samples to be considered.
  • As an independent contractor you must complete a W9 or W8-BEN (non-US) tax forms.
